Kenia

A Journey of Faith & Healing

A wife. A mother of three. Living with metastatic breast cancer while continuing to face each day with faith, hope and courage.

Meet Kenia

Kenia has always had a way of making every place feel like home.

Whether she is filling the house with fresh flowers, writing an encouraging note on the kitchen whiteboard, wrapping the entire dining table in birthday paper or making breakfast-for-dinner, Kenia has always found joy in making the people around her feel loved.

Raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she grew up in a Christian home where faith was not merely spoken about—it was lived. Long drives across the island to gather with fellow believers, two years of church training focused on knowing the Bible, loving the Lord and serving others and the love she witnessed between her mother and stepfather helped shape the woman she is today.

After college in Ponce, Kenia earned a master’s degree in forensic psychology in Washington, D.C., where she helped counsel at-risk youth. She later poured that same care into raising our three boys, always looking for another way to express her love.

She loves gardening, peonies, baking, coffee, the beach, summer, traveling, swimming in Palm Springs and creating beautiful spaces. More than anything, she loves people and is willing to sacrifice for them.

A Note from Tony

For now, a few words.

I have started this letter many times and each time realized I wanted to find the right words—not simply because this website deserves them, but because Kenia deserves them.

For now, I hope you have had the opportunity to meet the woman I have had the privilege of loving: an incredible wife, an amazing mother to our three boys and someone who continues to face each day with remarkable faith, hope and courage.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Kenia, to pray for our family and to walk a small part of this journey with us.
